Our Weekend with Uncle Jakey & Aunt Rachel...

Day 1: Disneyland

Jake and Rachel came down from San Francisco to take their favorite (and only) nephews to Disneyland. We had a blast! Lets just say it was...magical. ;) Connley LOVED it! We couldn't have picked a better day to go. We went last Friday and had a nice overcast afternoon and rain showers in the evening. The cloudy skies and rain made for short, if any, lines, which made for plenty of time to get in all the rides we had hoped to hit. Connley loved the Buzz Lightyear and Toy Story rides, he got to shoot lazers at things, who wouldn't like that? He also loved Pirates of the Caribbean. Dalton also got to enjoy those rides with us. Despite being soaked through, we all made it until 10:00 that night. Dalton was cozy, warm, and dry in his stroller under a huge umbrella and Connley couldn't get enough splashing around in the puddles. I think he thought it was all the best thing ever. He was in heaven. Well, here's all of our captured moments at the the most Magical Place On Earth...(a special thanks to Rachel for capturing all of these moments)...

Goofy!

Connley and Uncle Jakey having the time of their lives!

Connley's sweet 3-D glasses for the Toy Story ride.

We all looked awesome in our 3-D glasses.

And look who we happened to come across...

WALL-E!!!! Yes, Connley was VERY excited.

Connley, Uncle Jakey, and WALL-E.

Such a cute little boy.

This is Connley's reaction when he saw

Buzz Lightyear in the Pixar Parade. He

was sooo excited and amazed.

Connley checking out the giant Buzz in

the Buzz Lightyear ride line. We were

soaking wet by this point, but still

having fun!

Dalton just waking up from his nap. He

was all bundled up with a hat on and it

left him with this nice hair do!

Just another cute picture of Dalton all

bundled up.

Day 2: Whale Watching...Attempt

The next day we attempted to go whale watching. We got on the boat and were on it for about five minutes before the captain got on the loud speaker and said he was having trouble with the steering wheel and so we had to go back into dock, meaning...no whales. Despite the unfortunate circumstances, the boys still managed to have a good time for the fifteen minutes we were on the boat. Jacob's friend Brad came along with us and he showed Connley how to make puppets out of the barf bags. Yummy. Connley loved it. We ended up walking around the mall and going out to dinner at the Cheesecake Factory. So, here's the pictures from our Day 2 adventure...

Barf bag puppets!

Aunt Rachel taught Connley how to use

the pockets in his jacket, a necessary skill.

Connley trying on hats at the mall. I

think this picture is hilarious!

The boys found these shoes and thought

they'd look great on Connley. What do

you think?

I'm SO glad you posted these pictures. I miss you guys so much and can't believe how big my little Connley is. And Dalton is an angel. Let me know if you come to AZ to visit your parents. I would love to see you guys.

Connley's High Tech Space Shuttle

Connley and I built a space shuttle for him the other day. He kept sitting inside this box that I was meaning to throw away and decided that he was having so much fun with it that we should color it and make it something cool. So it is his NASA space shuttle, called Space Shuttle Connley. Once completed I had him sit in it and I pushed him around the apartment until I just about fell over dead (like after one minute!). So, that was our fun little project!
